I love photographing weddings. Especially when the couple are so relaxed and fun, just like Olivia and Matt.
They decided to get married on the beautiful little patch of lawn down at the Gerringong boat harbour, as Olivia used to come and spend time with family here when she was younger. They couldn't have picked a better day - typical South Coast winter, 19 degrees with a gentle breeze blowing to stop things heating up too much.
I met them for a few quick shots at the Mercure as they were getting ready. As with most weddings, the atmosphere in the groom's room was fairly laid back, a beer or two to help calm any nerves :)
Olivia was surprisingly calm too! And looking gorgeous in her amazing dress...
The ceremony down at the Boat harbour was elegantly simple. A small group of family and friends to share the moment with them.
Some live butterflies were then released, resulting in some beautiful moments!!!
Olivia and Matt wanted some photos taken on the ledge of the sea pool, just nearby.
After the reception, they returned for some more shots in the beautiful afternoon light. We met up on the headland, which provides some epic vistas back over the Boat harbour, and north across to Werri beach. The sunset was amazing, and we had so much fun!!!
I wish Olivia and Matt all the best for their future together. Congratulations guys :)
